Downpipe filters are rainwater filters which are installed in the run of the downpipe.
There are two different types: downpipe filters which are directing the cleaned rainwater through a sideway fitting into the tank. Dirt and waste water are flushed through the run of the downpipe into the canalisation.
And downpipe filters which are ejecting the dirt through a front opening and the cleaned water is directed through the run of the downpipe to the connected system (infiltration system, tank, etc.).
